The company was founded in 2012 to ultimately enable people to
create intelligent devices and connect them sustainably.
We believe that by designing our electronics in-house we can
maintain the high quality we demand from our solutions.
Next to SODAQ products, we sell a wide array of selected Arduino
accessories in our shop.
We are experts in developing smart sensor solutions, and customizing them for our clients.
Take a look at the sensors we developed in house, and get in touch with us if you have something
that needs to be measured, whether it is soil, solar radiation or water conductivity.
We will create something to help you.
Our family of microcontroller boards is Arduino based, and is optimised to run on solar generated power.
Every board comes with a set of libraries and code that you can use to get started in no time.
To ensure the greatest possible flexibility we like to keep our design modular for network communication technology.
It should be up to you to decide whether to send your data packages via 3G, GPRS, LoRa or WiFi and every solution
demands a different protocol. The GPRSBee, LoRaBee and WiFiBee were designed in house by our engineers.
The Internet of Things industry is only at the beginning of its maturity curve. The time to position yourself on
the forefront of innovation is now and we can help. Due to our unique combination of embedded software and hardware
development expertise, we have been able to give holistic, customized Internet of Things workshops for several clients.

With the help of more than 500 backers from over 40 nations we have crowdfunded the
development of our microcontroller board generations. We have iterated every board
with the feedback from our community and pride ourselves on our customer centric
approach to product development.
In the process, over €50.000 have been raised. Check out our Kickstarter stories,
ranging from the SODAQ Moja to our latest family member: The Autonomo.
