You can visit our website anonymously. SODAQ does not collect names or other information relating to the identity of visitors to this website. Statistical information for improving our website (such as number of visitors, search behavior, popular topics and navigation style) is collected. To this end, we use the IP address of your computer. Customer Portal, dashboards and devices
Our online client portal and customer dashboards are exclusively available to customers of SODAQ. To access this portal or dashboards, you need to log in with your organization’s license number or name and password. In our portal you will find the unique information associated with your devices and services. We can see which organization has logged in to the online portal, but only see the name of the admin user you have chosen, not any names or functions of users or visitors. We do not register names of users nor do we enable our customers to register addresses of users in the devices or dashboards. Our customers are responsible for their own activities in relation to the devices we allow them to track and trace. Unless specifically designed for it, the devices are intended for tracking animals or assets, not persons. In case of emergency devices for persons, we do not register which person is using a device nor do we store any PII. The responsibility for use and relation to privacy is passed on to our customer. SODAQ fully complies with the GDPR and other privacy responsibilities. The only information SODAQ is sporadically registering concerning devices and locations is whether they are connected to NB-IoT or LTE-M and respective bandwidths. We use this information to improve our devices and to potentially inform providers whether their bandwidths are working. When we register this we do not collect or store any other information as to who owns or uses the device. We only register this information from devices using our standard provided basic dashboard functionality.
Social media
Through our news articles on our website and posted on social media, we keep you informed about new developments, products and services. You can (un)follow us on social media but not register for newsletters, we do not maintain a newsletter database with your information. Our marketing department regularly posts updates on our social media outlets, including LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook. Included in these posts may be photos and videos in which people are recognizable. When photos are taken or videos are shot, we always announce they will be used for marketing ends, and we ask for permission. If you find yourself in one or more of these photos or videos, and would rather not be in them, please let us know immediately. We will remove you from the post(s) in question.
