Fresh into 2022 SODAQ CEO Ollie Smeenk took the time to reflect on 2021 and share his vision for the company in the new year.
Brief Summary
In 2021, SODAQ grew by 25%, brought on two big clients in Qualcomm and XiltriX, launched 4 products (two of which are batteryless), and have 20 running pilot programs. SODAQ also ran a successful Kickstarter for the AIR, launched the coverage & Know Your Air maps, and the silica dashboard.
In 2022 SODAQ will focus on creating a positive impact with its business activities and devices alike. The company will continue to pioneer and develop devices that are powered by renewable energy sources and excel in energy harvesting. With responsible devices, SODAQ will create an impact for its clients, by saving co2 equivalent emissions in global supply chains. Lastly, SODAQ will also focus on designing for circularity towards the end goal of ‘Planned Permanence’.
